The Imagine Children’s Festival is happening on The South Bank in London from the 11th to the 24th February 2013.
Events are situated in and around the Southbank Centre, and most of the events are happening over half term to allow families to enjoy them together.
Run in conjunction with The Book People, it offers a host of events for children across the whole of the arts.

Events this year include:
A dinosaur petting zoo experience.
Author events with authors such as David Walliams who will be talking about his new book, Ratburger, and Frank Cottrell Boyce, who will be discussing the latest in his new adventures of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang series.
A performance of the Queen’s Knickers.
Family workshops on a whole range of topics.
A spoken word performance by Michael Rosen
A bicycle powered children’s disco.
The Southbank Centre is a huge venue with plenty of performance spaces, including free events which will run in the vast foyer spaces.
There is parking available next door in the National Theatre, who also offer a series of events, including free concerts in their foyer space most weekends, as well as theatre tours and talks.
The South Bank is a wonderful place to take your family, with events and performances happening inside and out most weekends. Taking your family out for the Imagine Festival is a fantastic way to start sampling what the South Bank has to offer.
